Adult Volunteers

As a local nonprofit, The Ophelia Project depends on the support of volunteers and the community. We welcome volunteers who have a passion for our mission and want to lend a hand to make Hillsborough County the best place for girls to live!

Adult volunteer opportunities range from long term commitments, such as program facilitation, to shorter term jobs, such as helping out with the special event or in the office. We strive to find the best fit for each volunteer’s particular interests and unique talents.

Current volunteer opportunities are:

Girls on the Run Coach and Running Buddy: Get involved with Girls on the Run through long-term volunteer opportunities or one-day events. Read more about the program and volunteering here.

Resource Development & Fundraising: Serve as our 2010 Annual Fund Drive Chairperson or become part of our 2010 Annual Benefit Dinner Committee. There are also opportunities for students to reach their Community Service hours required for graduation. Contact Jennifer Jacobs to get involved.
