InternshipsThe Ophelia Project is proud to offer internships to students in high school, undergraduate and graduate school. We accept students from a variety of disciplines who express an interest in our mission or programs. In the past, we have hosted students in fields of study such as public health, psychology, social work, marketing, public relations and more. The majority of internships are set up on a per-student basis, based on the student's area of study or interest and requirements. We work with the student to craft an internship that will meet your interests as well as our organizational goals. Internships typically last a semester or longer and can be used for college credit (if applicable). We also offer a Girls Health Initiative Internship on a continuing basis, which is a program specifically designed for students looking to begin a career in community or public health. The program aims to develop opportunities for students to gain experience serving a diverse population of girls in a variety of settings. It includes opportunities to facilitate programs, work on one or two major projects and assisting with the daily operations of The Ophelia Project. Click here for the internship handbook.
